[Living in Truth. Ethics of Truthfulness in the Age of Post-Truth]
Can you lie to yourself? Should you always tell the truth? Do we live in a time when the pursuit of truth is no longer important? Humans are seekers of truth; they are capable of orienting themselves toward a 'life in truth' that could shape three different areas of their existence: their relationship with themselves, their conversations with other people, and their handling of truth and lies in the society in which they live together. This book attempts to propose ethics of truthfulness as character ethics (or virtue ethics) and to describe its possible effects on our lives - in an age in which "fake news" and the idea of "post-truth" are omnipresent.
