The Journey

The Journey is a triumphant return to form by Samuel Ludke-an instant powerhouse of a poetry collection that refuses to look away from the human soul in motion.Across a sweeping sequence of visionary poems, Ludke charts an unflinching path through sin, reckoning, transcendence, and return. A soul is lifted by angels and forced to confront the weight of its own memory. A haunting song of the Antichrist exposes the fragile bargains of desire and belief. Reality fractures into overwhelming color, identity dissolves into impossible clarity, and meaning itself is broken apart until only presence remains.
