The End of Stupidity and the Last Fool

From his barricaded attic somewhere in Western Europe, Frederick watches the world burn through the cracks of a forgotten skylight. With only a fading friendship tethering him to reality, Frederick pens scathing essays under a pseudonym and rages against a society he perceives as foolish. When a biotech giant unveils Socrates II-a genetically engineered genius meant to lead humanity through the climate crisis-Frederick sees a chance for salvation. But in trading chaos for order, Frederick fails to see the seeds of something else growing beneath the polished surface. Haunted by the past, he drifts between fantasy and reality. As the world darkens, Frederick must face the cost of what he helped usher in.Bleak and cerebral, THE END OF STUPIDITY AND THE LAST FOOL is a meditation on idealism and the danger of mistaking intellect for wisdom.
