Inside is a photograph of seven corpses in an abandoned church crypt, with a swastika painted in blood behind them.Leyla, disillusioned with Whitehall's secrets, was ready to resign from Naval Security, but this case pulls her back in... into the icy wastes of South Georgia, into the orbit of MI6, and into a web of secrets for which she is not prepared. As Britain edges closer to war, loyalties fracture and the truth - buried beneath ice and blood - may cost more than anyone is willing to pay.
