Cozy Advent Calendar

December has a way of arriving before you're ready for it.
Lists to write, things to buy, people to see, and a version of yourself you're supposed to be: cheerful, organized, generous, and on top of it all. Somewhere in the middle of that, the actual month disappears.
It is not a program. It is not a challenge. It is not something you can fail.
One small thing per day. Twenty-four days. That is the whole calendar.
Open to Day 1 on December 1st. Do whatever is on the page. Close the book and go about your day. That is the entire system.
INSIDE- 24 dated days, December 1st to 24th. Each one is a Mindfulness Prompt, a Warm Ritual, or a Feel-Good Activity- Every day in three sizes: 5, 15, or 30 minutes, depending on what December is doing to you that day- A line to write something down, and a one-line mood check-in- A 24-day tracker, and three marked days: the Midpoint Check-In, the Winter Solstice, and Christmas Eve- A downloadable Cozy Bonus Pack: printable ritual cards, a January page, a simmer-pot and hot cocoa recipe card, and a phone wallpaper
You cannot do this wrong. You can do it out of order, incompletely, halfheartedly, or in your pajamas at eleven at night. It still counts. This is not a streak app, and there is no notification waiting to guilt you. It is a book. It will be here.
The only version of this book that does not work is the one that stays closed because you are waiting until you have more time or a better attitude.
For yourself, or for someone who could use a slower December. Just start.
