Cooking Up Magick

Paisley Dell just wants to cook. A halfling with big culinary ambitions, she sets off across the realm of Erdea to learn its cuisines - only to discover, days into her journey, that she can wield magick no one has seen in five hundred years. That's a problem, because the sorcerer who wiped out magick users the first time around is back, raising an army of orcs to finish what he started. With a talking cat, a pair of dwarven companions, and an orc prince determined to restore his people's honor, Paisley is pulled from spice markets into a siege - and finds that she and her friends may be the only thing standing between Erdea and ruin. Cozy fantasy warmth meets epic fantasy stakes in a story where kindness, love, and community aren't weaknesses to overcome, but the very strengths that win wars.Includes a map of Erdea and appendices featuring a pronunciation guide, glossary, and cast of characters.
