Brahman

In Brahman, Alexander Jacob offers a groundbreaking exploration of the cosmological frameworks of the ancient Indo-Europeans, unveiling the intricate connections between their sacrificial rites, theurgic practices, and gnostic systems. By tracing the profound insights of the Japhetic Aryans and the Hamitic Egyptians, Sumerians, and later Indian traditions, Jacob reveals a shared spiritual foundation that transcends geographic and cultural boundaries. The work delves into the original yogic vision of the human microcosm as a reflection of the macrocosm, demonstrating its enduring influence on the Vedic fire rituals and the Agamic temple traditions. These rituals, centered on the solar force as manifest in sacred fires, divine idols, and devoted practitioners, present a unified understanding of the spiritual practices across these civilizations.Scholars and students of Hinduism, ancient Near Eastern religions, and Indo-European spiritual culture will find this book an indispensable resource for its innovative approach and compelling insights. Brahman is not merely a study of ancient traditions but a vital contribution to understanding the profound cosmological unity underlying them.
