Advanced Mobile Communications

This book offers a comprehensive exploration of wireless quantum optical communications. Drawing on the author's more than three decades of university teaching experience, it seamlessly bridges foundational quantum mechanics and quantum electrodynamics with cutting-edge developments like decoherence and quantum teleportation. It provides rigorous treatment of coherent and thermal radiation, single-path and multipath transmission, optimum quantum data detection and turbo equalization for quantum reception. This third volume of the Advanced Mobile Communications Series is an essential reference for researchers, engineers, and students seeking both depth and practical insight in the rapidly evolving field of quantum communications,- delivering a thorough and accessible overview of wireless quantum optical communications- establishing a rigorous mathematical foundation for key quantum theoretical principles, and- showcases the potential, even in challenging or adverse environments.
